Terms of participation
Non-binding translation. This version is provided for information only. The German version is the legally binding one.
PlusPlus is an ongoing research/pilot project of Regionale KRAFT e.V. These terms describe the actual, current functioning of the platform, but do not replace a case-by-case legal review — in particular regarding the classification of tipster activity under trade law and commercial agency law.
1. Core principles
- No joining fees for tipsters
- No obligation to buy, no plans for tipsters
- No bonus for merely registering
- No bonus for merely recruiting other tipsters
- Bonuses only for real, confirmed customers, orders, bookings or sales
- The direct tipster receives the main bonus
2. No multi-level marketing, no pyramid scheme
PlusPlus is not a distribution system in which income derives mainly from recruiting further participants. There is no joining or participation fee for tipsters, and no bonus is paid for merely recruiting new tipsters. An additional, multi-level commission (currently up to two further levels, 20 % and 10 % of the direct tipster’s bonus respectively) is paid out only if a recruited tipster submits a tip themselves that leads to a real, confirmed order — never for recruitment alone.
3. How a recommendation works
A tipster submits a tip for a specific business or offer via the platform. If the contact details of a recommended person are entered manually, that person’s prior consent to the disclosure of their data is mandatory. The business reviews the tip and reports back via the platform (or the connected order webhook) whether it has resulted in a real business transaction.
Recruitment (jobs and apprenticeships)
Businesses can set a referral bonus for a position as a total commission. It becomes due when a person recommended by a tipster is referred and hired by the business; the business confirms the hiring via the platform. The amount shown is the share that reaches the recommending person; the amount retained from the total commission serves to remunerate the referral network (see section 2). All amounts are net amounts (see section 6).
4. Bonus approval
A bonus is only approved after review by the admin and confirmation of the underlying business transaction by the respective business. If several tips are submitted for the same contact, the earliest tip applies (first-touch principle).
5. Obligations of businesses: timely processing, no circumvention of the platform
Businesses listed as partners on PlusPlus undertake to follow up every contact referred via PlusPlus promptly and carefully — within 18 days at the latest — and to report and handle it exclusively via the platform. In particular:
- Repeatedly failing to process or ignoring a received tip without good reason constitutes a breach of contract — regardless of whether it would later have resulted in an order.
- It is prohibited to conceal a business transaction referred via PlusPlus from the platform, or to falsely report it as not concluded, in order to avoid the commission due.
- Commissions/bonuses to tipsters are calculated and paid out exclusively by PlusPlus. A direct payment from the business to the tipster bypassing the platform is not permitted and does not release the business from its obligation to report to PlusPlus.
- Breaches of this obligation entitle PlusPlus to claim the commission due and to exclude the business account from further participation.
6. Payout
Outstanding bonuses and commissions are paid out in bulk once a minimum amount of 20 € per tipster has been reached (by bank transfer or PayPal, depending on the details in the profile). Smaller amounts are carried forward until the minimum amount is reached.
Commission basis: net order value
All percentages refer to the net order value, i.e. the order value excluding VAT. For the business, VAT is a transitory item and is not part of the calculation basis. Likewise, all bonuses and commissions shown are net amounts and are paid out net only. Amounts shown with the addition “approx.” are estimates based on a guide price; the actual net order value at the time of the transaction is decisive.
The business sets a total commission and pays it. The amount shown is always the share that reaches the recommending person; the amount retained from the total commission serves to remunerate the referral network (see section 2). Example: with a total commission of 10 % and a share of 80 %, the recommending person receives 8 % of the net order value.
The tax treatment of bonuses and commissions received (in particular VAT and income tax) is the responsibility of the respective tipster. PlusPlus does not provide tax advice.
7. Plans for businesses
Businesses can optionally book paid plans with monthly billing that extend their visibility on the platform (e.g. number of offers, featured placement, job/apprenticeship listings). The specific features and prices of each plan can be viewed in the business dashboard. Contracts for plans are concluded exclusively between Regionale KRAFT e.V. and the respective business as an entrepreneur within the meaning of consumer protection law.
8. Liability
PlusPlus arranges contacts between tipsters, businesses and interested parties, but does not itself become a party to the referred transaction. PlusPlus accepts no liability for the performance, quality or lawfulness of the transaction concluded between the business and the referred person.
9. Changes
These terms of participation may be amended, in particular if the way the platform works changes. The current version published on this page applies. Austrian law applies.
